Refund policy
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
At Victoria’s Attic, your satisfaction is important to us. While we hope you love every piece you purchase, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Please review the following return and exchange policy carefully.
Eligibility for Return or Exchange
We accept returns, exchanges, or store credits for regular-priced merchandise within 30 days of the shipment date. Items must be:
- In original, unworn condition
- With all original tags attached in their original placement
- Free from signs of wear, stains, makeup, deodorant, or fragrance
- Packaged with care, as originally received (e.g. tissue in moulded cups)
All sale or discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or credit.
In-Store Purchase Policy
Due to hygiene, health, and product integrity standards, the following items purchased in-store are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
- Bras
- Underwear and panties
- Shapewear
- Swimwear
- Compression garments
- Tights and hosiery
Online Purchase Exceptions
For online purchases, post-surgery products, breast tape & adhesives, wash/detergents, compression garments and tights/hosiery are final sale and are not eligible for online return or exchange. These products are packaged for medical, hygiene, and product integrity purposes and cannot be resold once opened or handled.
Hygiene & Quality Assurance
To maintain the integrity and hygiene standards of our garments:
- If trying on panties or similar intimate apparel, please wear clean personal undergarments underneath.
- All items with a crotch panel (e.g., panties, bodysuits, swimwear) must clearly demonstrate no signs of wear.
- Swimwear must retain the protective liner in place and appear untouched.
- Items showing deodorant, lotion, makeup, or stains will not be accepted.
Any return that does not meet these hygiene standards will be refused, and no refund, exchange, or credit will be issued.
Return Authorization
To initiate a return or exchange, please email thegirls@victoriasattic.ca within 30 days of your order's shipment. We will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number, which must be clearly written on the outside of your return package.
Without an RA number, we will be unable to process your return.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including any cost to return an item that does not meet return criteria.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
For U.S. returns, please mark your customs form as “Canadian Goods Return.” Improperly declared items may incur duties, which are the customer’s responsibility.
Packaging Requirements
Returns must be packaged with the same level of care in which they were received. For example:
- Moulded cups must include original tissue inserts to prevent damage or denting
- Any items returned in damaged or unsaleable condition will not qualify for refund or exchange
Returns that arrive damaged, improperly packaged, or without the RA number clearly displayed will not be accepted.
Refund & Processing Time
Once your return is received and approved, we will notify you via email and proceed with your exchange, store credit, or refund to your original method of payment. Please allow time for return processing, especially during peak seasons.
Non-Eligible Returns
If a return is deemed ineligible and you wish to have the item returned to you, you will be responsible for:
- The original return shipping cost
- The cost of shipping the item back to your address
Victoria’s Attic does not cover any shipping charges incurred after the original purchase.
